Welcome to Bright Minds Tutoring Hub. Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully.
Payments
- Fees are paid weekly via direct debit or upfront for the term.
- Students enrolling during the term are charged from their agreed start date.
- Failed or declined payments may result in tutoring being paused until payment is resolved.
- Public holidays are not charged unless a lesson runs and is attended.
Attendance & Cancellation Policy
- All scheduled tutoring sessions are payable.
- Cancellations must be made by text to 0402 578 769.
- Cancellations made before 9:00 am on the day of the lesson will receive a credit.
- Cancellations made after 9:00 am or no-shows are charged in full and do not receive a credit.
- Credits may be used for an available make-up session or holiday lesson.
- Make-up sessions depend on tutor and timetable availability and cannot be guaranteed.
- Unused credits may be carried over to the following term.
- Please provide as much notice as possible for holidays or extended absences.
- Frequent cancellations may affect a student's regular tutoring time.
Tutor & Session Changes
- We aim to keep tutors and session times consistent.
- If a tutor is unavailable, we will offer an alternative tutor, rescheduled session, make-up session or credit where possible.
- If a lesson cannot be provided or made up, no charge will apply.
Holiday Lessons
- Holiday tutoring is optional and may be offered during school holidays.
- Sessions may be used for revision, catch-up, assessment preparation or extension.
- Available credits may be used for holiday lessons.
Child Safety & Behaviour
- All tutors hold a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC).
- Students are expected to behave respectfully towards tutors, staff and other students.
- Serious or repeated inappropriate behaviour may result in enrolment being reviewed.
Ending Tutoring
- There are no lock-in contracts.
- Families may end tutoring at any time.
- We ask for two weeks' notice where possible to assist with scheduling.
- Any outstanding fees must be finalised when tutoring ends.
